Hello and welcome to a new Gimbal Guru Blogpost. In this article I show you, how you can create a 360 Barrel Inception Roll with your Feiyu Tech G6 Gimbal. With the normal operation modes, it is not possible to create this effect. Unfortunately, the Feiyu Tech G6 Gimbal is missing this function, but I show you a trick how you can still achieve the effect.

In the first step, mount your actioncamera on the G6 Gimbal and make sure the lens is right inside, next to the tilt motor. Then put the Tilt Motor on a flat surface. Then you move up the handshaft and make sure that it is parallel to the surface. Fix the the roll axis with a tape and make sure it can’t move anymore. In the next step, you point the camera forward and make sure the handshaft and camera- axis are in a line. Then fix the tilt axis with a tape. And we’re done!

Now you can roll the pan axis without turning on the Gimbal and create an awesome 360 Barrel Roll Effect.

Here is a Gimbal Guru special tip: Set your framerates to 60fps or higher. Now you’re able to slow down your videos in post- production. This gives you full scope in the editing Process and a more creative way to use the effect.
